Drive net new revenue to the business and create advocates in the marketplace for the Client brand, reduce the attrition rate of existing customers through open and regular communication, and drive whitespace revenue into existing customer accounts through new feature adoption and uptake of partner integrations. This is a great opportunity for dynamic sales professionals focused on expanding the Client footprint across the existing customer base using a consultative sales approach.
As a Client Account Executive, you will be responsible for:
- Driving and managing the sales process, targeting net new opportunities, identifying client solutions, building and maintaining customer relationships, supporting and scheduling software demonstrations, negotiating, and managing opportunities through inbound and outbound activity.
- Confidently conducting client presentations, meetings, product demonstrations, and promoting Client at industry conferences and trade shows.
- Maintaining relationships with existing customers through online and face-to-face interaction.
- Understanding Client’s positioning in the market and being well-versed in product differentiators and strengths.
- Working with sales leadership and marketing to achieve short and long-term sales goals for targeted clients.
- Developing and implementing integrated sales strategies in conjunction with other business units on shared opportunities.
- Exceeding assigned annual sales and retention quotas.
- Working with the broader sales team to share ideas, knowledge, and new business development strategies to help the team succeed.
- Managing the contracting process and sales administration.
- Maintaining a healthy pipeline, accurate record keeping, and forecast reporting.
- Representing the company at trade association meetings to promote products.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years of strategic account executive or account manager experience in the software industry or similar.
- Industry knowledge and/or experience is preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated track record of adding value through client relationships to increase revenue over a sustained period, exceeding sales targets, and working effectively with key stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Confidence in presenting to clients and prospects.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of technology and ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- CRM experience preferred but not required.
