AI Engineer

We’re partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company that is looking for a Staff Engineer to help shape the future of its platform, engineering practices, and AI-enabled software development.

This is the most senior individual contributor role in the engineering team, offering the opportunity to influence technical strategy, drive architectural decisions, and lead complex initiatives across product and platform engineering.

• Set technical direction across product, platform, and cloud infrastructure.
• Lead large cross-functional projects that span multiple systems and teams.
• Drive architecture decisions and major technology investments.
• Improve AWS and Terraform environments with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
• Help define and implement AI-assisted engineering practices and developer workflows.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence across the team.
• Partner with product and business leaders to balance customer needs with technical priorities.
• Support the resolution of complex technical challenges and production incidents.

• 8 years of software engineering experience within SaaS environments.
• Experience operating as a Senior, Lead, Principal, or Staff Engineer.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Web APIs, MongoDB, React, and TypeScript.
• Deep knowledge of AWS and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Proven track record making architecture decisions in production systems.
• Experience using AI development tools, coding agents, or modern software engineering workflows.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence both technical and business stakeholders.
