Senior Software Engineer 

up to £60,000 | Hybrid Bristol

Pearson Carter are working with a well-established, privately-owned business made up of talented people from a variety of backgrounds and disciplines, with a long track record of supplying non-contact optical measurement equipment and services to the largest names in aerospace, automotive and energy sectors worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Developing, testing, and debugging software for both Linux and Windows systems.
• Collaborating with other engineers in the team to create software solutions.
• Ensuring solutions are created to the highest standard, with performance and user experience in mind.
• Develop efficient, testable, and reusable code, promoting best practices.

Experience:

• 3+ years commercial C# development experience.
• Experience with Windows Forms
• Experience building Razr (or similar framework) applications.
• SDLC, revision control and change configuration management.

Desirable experience:

• A working knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of metrology.
• Knowledge of advanced manufacturing techniques.
• Knowledge of the Unity Development Platform.

Salary + Benefits:

They offer an excellent salary up to £60,000 and includes an excellent benefit package.

Location:

This company are based in Bristol and are looking for someone to commute twice a week onsite.
