Responsibilities:

Setting Technical Strategy

As the leader in this role, you are responsible for establishing the technical strategy for the organization. This involves aligning the technical vision with the agency’s needs and goals. You’ll need to work closely with other executives to ensure that the technical strategy supports the agency’s overall mission

Technology Planning & Roadmapping

You are responsible for planning and creating a technology roadmap that aligns with the agency’s digital business strategy. This requires a deep understanding of both current and emerging technologies, as well as how they can be leveraged to meet the agency’s objectives.

Technology Trendspotting

Staying up to date with technological trends, best practices, and industry mandates is crucial. Your role involves identifying and applying relevant trends and practices that can help advance the agency’s business strategy. This might involve keeping an eye on emerging technologies and evaluating their potential impact.

Technology Investment & Procurement

You make decisions about which technologies to invest in and procure. This means you will need to build strong business cases to justify these decisions. Your goal is to drive technology innovation within the start up by selecting the right tools and solutions.

Standards & Best Practices

You are responsible for defining and implementing standards and best practices for digital product development. This ensures that the agency’s products meet its needs and maintain the maximum availability of IT infrastructure and applications. It involves applying your expertise in industry-standard development practices.

Enterprise-Wide Technology Infrastructure

You’ll be tasked with designing and implementing an enterprise-wide technology infrastructure. This involves managing and directing a team of senior leaders to ensure the infrastructure remains modern, is regularly updated with technological advancements, and does not pose risks to ongoing operations.

Salary

They offer an excellent salary of up to $250,000 per annum for the right candidate!

Location

Sometime spent in their New York office is required
