    Cloud Software Engineer – Azure .NET AI Up to 225,000Company

    Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading technology-enabled legal services organisation that is investing heavily in cloud transformation, automation and AI. You’ll join a high-performing technology team, reporting directly to the CIO, where you’ll help build modern cloud-native applications and contribute to cutting-edge AI initiatives that are transforming the legal industry.

    Responsibilities
    • Design, develop and support cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure.

    • Build secure REST APIs and backend solutions using C# and .NET.

    • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and automate deployments through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

    • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, automation and cloud infrastructure.

    • Contribute to AI initiatives involving Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and agentic AI solutions.

    • Collaborate closely with architects, developers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable enterprise applications.


    ExperienceEssential
    • Commercial experience developing applications using C# and .NET (.NET Core/.NET 8).

    • Strong Microsoft Azure experience including App Services, Functions, Storage, API Management, Key Vault or similar services.

    • Experience building and securing REST APIs.

    • Strong DevOps knowledge including Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep preferred, Terraform also considered).

    • Experience supporting enterprise production environments.

    Highly Desirable
    • Azure certifications (AZ-204, AZ-400, AI-102).

    • Experience working with AI technologies including LLMs, RAG or agentic AI.

    • Cloud-native and API-first architecture experience.


    Salary
    • Up to 225,000 depending on experience.

    • Hybrid working environment.

    Location

    Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane (preferred), Adelaide and other Australian locations will be considered.
