Cyber Security Engineer – £80k – Belfast

Pearson Carter are currently working with a software solutions company specialising in the creation of solutions for a range of industries including the space industry. Some of their clients include NASA and the United Space Alliance. They need a Cyber Security Engineer with an understanding of best practices and how to implement them at a business-wide level and looking for an opportunity to grow. The role will involve design, implementation, maintenance, and upgrades of all security measures needed to protect organisations’ data, systems, and networks.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implementation, maintenance, and upgrade all security measures
• Troubleshoot security and networking issues
• Routinely conduct Penetration testing
• Implement security improvements and respond to security breaches
• Conduct network and system vulnerability tests

Experience:

• MUST HAVE experience developing cyber security products 
• Core security technologies – SIEM/Anti-virus/ Firewall
• Penetration testing, Cisco, VMware
• C, Python, PowerShell, Bash scripting exposure

Salary:

They are offering a range of salaries from £75-80k, private health care, in-house training and qualifications and a great progression plan.

Location:

This client is based in Dublin or Belfast, offering fully remote work in Ireland and UK.
