Salary: €50,000 – €65,000 benefits

We are seeking experienced Data Architects to join a leading global consultancy in Malta. You will work on large-scale European enterprise projects, including major financial institutions, designing and implementing modern data platforms. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale data architectures including data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
• Implement Azure-based solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Power BI, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Azure Stream Analytics, Azure Blob Storage, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Work with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, and Power Platform to integrate and support data-driven solutions.
• Apply CI/CD methodologies and DevOps best practices for efficient development and deployment.
• Lead and mentor a small team of data engineers and developers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, provide consultancy, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure data governance and compliance with tools such as Azure Purview.

Candidate Requirements

• Data Architect: 6 years of relevant experience.
• Senior Data Architect: 8–9 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience designing and implementing Azure Data solutions.
• Formal training or certification on relevant Microsoft technologies is highly valued.
• Strong communication and consultancy skills.
• Experience leading a team is preferred.
• Fluent in English.
• Locally based candidates or those eligible to relocate to Malta.
