About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of IT to lead our technology operations, enterprise applications, and digital transformation initiatives. This is a critical leadership role overseeing the company’s ERP environment, EDI infrastructure, and eCommerce systems, ensuring seamless integration across the business.

As Director of IT, you will shape technology strategy, guide system enhancements, manage vendors, and lead a high-performing team. You’ll work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales, and eCommerce teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that support continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive the organization’s ERP strategy, including enhancements, integrations, upgrades, and vendor management

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of EDI workflows with major customers, suppliers, and 3PLs

• Oversee eCommerce systems, ensuring strong integration with ERP, payment platforms, inventory, and order management

• Manage day-to-day IT operations, including applications, security, infrastructure, and support

• Partner with executive leadership to define technology roadmap and digital transformation priorities

• Lead and mentor an internal IT team; manage external vendors and consultants

• Ensure system uptime, data accuracy, compliance, and best practices across all enterprise systems

• Evaluate business processes and implement improvements using automation and data-driven insights

• Own IT budgeting, forecasting, procurement, and strategic planning

• Champion cybersecurity standards, including policies, user training, and risk mitigation

What We’re Looking For

• 8–12 years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibility

• Strong hands-on background with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Epicor, Infor, Netsuite, or similar)

• Proven experience managing EDI platforms and integrations (TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, Cleo, etc.)

• Solid understanding of eCommerce technologies, APIs, web platforms, and digital order flows

• Background in manufacturing, distribution, or product-based environments strongly preferred

• Experience leading cross-functional projects and full lifecycle system implementations

• Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

• Strong leadership, communication, and vendor management skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related field (Master’s preferred)
