Responsibilities:

 

• Partnering with engineering, product, and design leaders to shape the team’s direction and strategy.
• Supporting and driving the engineering and product strategy with the help of your team.
• Enabling the engineering team to achieve high levels of quality, performance, and reliability.
• Teaching, mentoring, coaching and being a role model for engineers and other engineering managers.
• Creating a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team culture focused on predictability, speed, and customer value.
• Helping to shape and evolve the engineering culture by contributing to company-wide engineering initiatives.

Experience:

• Capable of guiding and mentoring a team with a tech stack of Python, Django, React and TypeScript.
• Previous leadership/management experience is required.
• Can demonstrate the previous impact their leadership has had on their teams/businesses.
• Strong knowledge of performance scalability systems
• System design/architecture expertise is advantageous

 

Salary

They offer an exceptional salary package: Up to £110,000 + several additional benefits

 

Location

This company is headquartered in Dublin. They are very flexible around people’s personal lives but you are expected to go into office frequently enough to be able guide a team.
