I have an amazing opportunity with my client who couple a cutting-edge learning experience platform, with continuously evolving relevant course products to enable remote continuous professional development and certification for educators in over 40,000 schools.

They are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the team which is focused mainly on PHP/ Laravel and JavaScript frameworks.

It is an amazing opportunity to join a new team that is being formed within the company and are looking for someone who can really drive best practice within a team to ultimately achieve great results for the schools they work with across the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Developing front-end web experience and back-end components
• Coding in PHP with Laravel and VueJS as the major frameworks
• Implementing integrations with internal and external systems
• Providing new development and maintenance
• Working as part of a scrum team with the lead developer, developers and product owner

Experience:

• Demonstrable experience of full-stack development with PHP and Laravel
• 3+ years experience in full-stack development roles
• A track record of building high-performance products, preferably with ecommerce applications
• Strong technical skills and understanding of software development and delivery practices
• Demonstrable experience with SaaS based products on cloud platforms
• Experience working with relational databases (MySQL)
• Implementation of front-end framework and libraries (VueJS)
• Capability to build CSS and front-end implementation for multi-device support based on UI/UX designs
• Practical experience working with automated unit and integration testing tools and frameworks
• A strong ability to work with detail and accuracy
• Flexible and able to work in a highly collaborative fast-paced culture
• Salary
• They offer an excellent salary package of up to £65,000.
