Hybrid Senior Web Developer – £60,000

Pearson Carter are working with an ambitious and ever-growing digital agency with a passion for web technology and client service. They’ve delivered over 2,000 projects in the last 27 years covering strategy, UX, Design and Development, and ultimately harnessing their teams’ abilities to ensure the effectiveness of measurable online platforms that meet the requirements of their clientele’s unique needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements (including direct contact meetings) and assisting with project budgeting and scheduling.
• Liaise with teams/individuals to develop and refine high-level design concepts.
• Configuration of Umbraco CMS and development of MVC, .Net Core websites.
• Implementation of application logic and back-end database structures.
• Providing and consuming webservices and other software integration logic.
• Work with presentation layer – e.g. HTML/CSS/JS front-end.
• Support of existing websites and CMS platforms.
• Mentor junior members of the team and help drive innovation, efficiency, and standards.

Experience

Essential Skills

• BSc Relevant qualification.
• Knowledge of web-based application programming and database design/integration with knowledge of C#, MVC, .Net Core, SQL, HTML, JavaScript and CSS.
• Experienced in producing standards-compliant, performant, and accessible websites.
• Understanding CMS platforms, specifically, experience of Umbraco CMS would be advantageous.

Desirable Skills

• Able to work with administration and customer support to identify issues and formulate solutions to automated processes.
• Able to work effectively and efficiently in an agency environment, including working to a deadline and across multiple projects simultaneously.
