Mechanical Engineer – Up to 110,000 NZD

Pearson Carter are currently working with an innovative New Zealand-based engineering and machinery company. Operating across New Zealand with headquarters in Hamilton, they specialise in designing and installing advanced sand manufacturing plants that transform quarry waste into high-quality concrete sand.

With growing demand due to global natural sand shortages and multi-million dollar projects secured across NSW and New Zealand, they are expanding their engineering team and looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to join them on-site in Hamilton.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small, close-knit team (approx. 15 employees) working at the forefront of construction and industrial technology.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out mechanical design activities for plant systems
• Produce detailed fabrication and engineering drawings
• Work closely with the team on hands-on engineering tasks
• Contribute to the design and installation of sand manufacturing plants

Experience:

• Mechanical Engineering degree
• Practical experience in mechanical design and drafting
• Strong proficiency with CAD packages, particularly SolidWorks
• Hands-on engineering mindset with the ability to work in a small team

Salary
They offer a competitive salary package up to 110,000 NZD depending on experience.

Location
Hamilton, New Zealand – this is an on-site role.
