NETWORK ENGINEER Full Time Permanent

Pearson Carter are working with a client who are a dynamic and innovative technology company dedicated to providing cutting-edge networking solutions for businesses across various industries. As a market leader, they are committed to delivering exceptional performance, security, and reliability to our clients. They are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Network Specialist to join their talented team.

They are looking for a Network Engineer who has been based in Malta for 2+ years

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure for clients.

• Install, troubleshoot, and upgrade network hardware and software components.

• Collaborate with project managers, systems administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of networking solutions.

• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement proactive measures for optimization.

• Implement and manage network security protocols and measures to safeguard against potential threats.

• Provide timely resolution to network-related issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability.

• Create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topologies, and procedures.

• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies, applying best practices to enhance network architecture

Experience needed

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher certification is required.

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing Cisco-based networks.

• Proficiency in routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF).

• Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and clients.

• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

They offer an excellent salary from 55k-60k

This client is based in Marsa, Malta
