QA Engineer |£42,000 | Richmond, London

Pearson Carter are currently with a Top Travel Agency, on a QA Engineer role. They are looking for an Engineer who can be responsible for developing web testing automation using automated frameworks such as Selenium.

For this role, the main requirements that they are looking for is someone with ‘CMS (Content Management System)’ experience, along with Jira and Gherkin/Cucumber/CI/CD.

Responsibilities:

• Developing an in-depth knowledge of the workings of company website and the products
• Working alongside the Backend and Frontend Developers and owning the testing process
• Working to deliver and execute acceptance criteria and their execution on automated basis.
• Developing web testing automation using frameworks such as Selenium
• Support the development team and troubleshoot issues.
• Providing regular reports on the status of tests and discuss improvements.

Experience:

• Understanding and experience working with a Content Management System (CMS)
• Working knowledge of tracking software – Jira
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience of defining actionable acceptance criteria using Gherkin or Cucumber
• Exposure to using JavaScript and Selenium to automate testing scripts.

Salary:

They are offering salaries up to £42,000 with a personal benefits package.

Location:

Richmond, London

This opportunity would be 2 x a week in office, (Thursday is a must).
