Remote Software Developer- £45,000

Pearson Carter are currently working with a software development company who provides timing services for worldwide events including SRO GT World Challenge, British Touring Cars, British GT & Bennetts British Superbikes. They also supply data to TV broadcasters to use for various audiences around the globe. They are looking for a Software Developer who will be responsible for developing and implementing further elements to their products and provides an opportunity to work in the motorsport industry!

Responsibilities

• The role will involve working on new and existing projects across multiple platforms (Web, Desktop and Mobile).
• Using a variety of front and back-end technologies.
• The team works on both internal and customer-facing applications; and the successful applicant will be expected to provide support to end-users.

Experience

• 3-4 years’ experience working with .NET technologies (C#, WPF, ASP.NET).
• Experience creating real-time applications using TCP/IP or WebSockets.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases.
• Knowledge of RESTful, SPA, and MVC concepts and architectures.
• Semantic HTML5, CSS3.
• JavaScript and front-end libraries/frameworks (Vue, React etc).
• Version Control (Git/SVN).
• A current full UK driving licence.
• Knowledge of Project management methodologies – including Agile.
• Experience developing for, and deploying to, cloud computing platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Proficient in Typescript.

Salary + Benefits

They offer an excellent salary up to £45,000 and includes benefits such as:

Location

The company has an office in Staffordshire however do offer this position as a remote opportunity too.
