Senior Application Support Engineer

Pearson Carter are currently recruiting for an Microsoft end user company who are looking for a Senior Application Support Engineer. This role is a key to their service delivery strategy and are looking for someone with extensive application support experience and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Provide application runtime, software debugging and general technical support and management to business-critical applications.
• To act as the technical expert for identified applications, sharing knowledge as appropriate and owning product upgrade roadmaps and schedules.
• Accountable for 3rd line support of our student and client facing live services for all production environments, users and application services

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working within application support and/or Software development providing 2nd/3rd line user support and management of hosted applications to a high technical level
• Degree qualified and relevant professional qualifications and experience
• Good working knowledge of supporting virtual and AWS-based technologies

Salary:

They are offering a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience + generous annual leave entitlement + rewards package + Group personal pension plan + healthcare and dental plans

Location:

This role can be based with travelling distance of Manchester or London on a hybrid basis – once a month required in office.
