Senior Back-End Developer (Hybrid)

Pearson Carter are currently working with a client who provide bespoke software solutions over a variety of market sectors. The candidate should be based in/nearby York and are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer. They are looking to grow their team as they have various new projects in the pipeline. They are looking for someone who has solid experience as a Senior Back-End Developer.  

They offer an excellent salary of up £55k depending on experience + excellent benefits package.

Experience / Responsibilities

• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Practical experience of the following languages and platforms: Microsoft .NET Core / ASP.NET Core, C# (or a similar general purpose programming language), Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Azure.
• An understanding of the operation of web technologies.
• An ability to use Git for version control.
• A background of relational database development
• Good SQL query skills, Significant database design experience, an understanding of performance issues and indexing strategy.
• An appreciation of security (authorisation and authentication).
• Good architectural design skills (structure, and clarity and consistency in nomenclature).
• The ability to turn a set of requirements into a working solution.
• A desire to learn new skills.

Salary

Depending on experience they are offering up-to-£55k + excellent benefits package.

Location

My client has offices in York. This is a Permanent Hybrid Position (2/3x a week on-site).
