Senior Backend Integration Developer

We are seeking multiple Senior Backend Integration Developers to join a high-performing technology team delivering a large-scale mobile application for a globally recognised organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a greenfield mobile platform that will be used by a large international customer base. You will play a key role in designing, building, and integrating the backend systems that power the application, ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and performance at every stage of development.

Working alongside Product Managers, Mobile Developers, UI/UX specialists, and fellow engineers, you will contribute to the architecture, development, and continuous improvement of modern cloud-based solutions while helping deliver an exceptional user experience.

• Designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable backend services and APIs.
• Building integrations between new application features and existing enterprise systems.
• Developing high-performance RESTful APIs using modern .NET technologies.
• Contributing to solution architecture, technical design, and system integration strategies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Optimising application performance, reliability, and security.
• Leveraging modern development practices, automation, and AI-assisted tooling to improve delivery efficiency and code quality.
• Participating in code reviews, testing, deployment activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You are a senior backend developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building high-quality software that operates at scale. You thrive in collaborative environments and take ownership of delivering solutions that create meaningful business outcomes.

• Strong commercial experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
• Proven experience designing and building RESTful APIs.
• Strong understanding of authentication and security practices including JWT.
• Experience working with SQL Server and relational database design.
• Solid knowledge of cloud-native development and AWS environments.
• Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices.
• Strong understanding of scalable system architecture, performance optimisation, and reliability engineering.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience supporting mobile application development projects.
• Exposure to complex enterprise system integrations.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices.
