The Role

We are seeking an experienced Front End Software Developer to take technical ownership of our proprietary Impress Plus Player software. This is a hands?on role responsible for the ongoing development, stability, and evolution of all player versions, with a strong focus on front end technologies.

You will act as the technical owner of the player platform, working closely with our offshore development teams in the Philippines and Serbia, while also engaging directly with clients and partners on solution design, demonstrations, and technical alignment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys product ownership, values quality and performance, and is comfortable bridging technical execution with real world client needs and has excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, development, and lifecycle of all Impress Plus Player versions, ensuring performance, scalability, security, and continuous improvement.
• Design and maintain responsive, high quality front end solutions using JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and Angular / AngularJS, contributing to technical decisions and code reviews.
• Collaborate with the Head of Software and Head of Product & Innovation to plan delivery, coordinate offshore teams (Philippines and Serbia), and manage sprint priorities and outputs.
• Have ability to engage directly with clients to support solution design, technical discussions, and product demonstrations.
• Uphold development best practices, coding standards, documentation, release management, and ISMS/security requirements while proactively identifying risks and improvement opportunities.

About You – Experience & Background

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development with a strong front end focus.
• Proven experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and Angular / AngularJS.
• Experience owning or maintaining a core software product or platform.
• Comfortable working with distributed and remote development teams.
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or similar

(desirable).

• Able to work autonomously while collaborating closely with technical leadership.
• Adaptable and effective at managing competing priorities under pressure.
