Senior Frontend Developer (Sitecore), Contract 

Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading organisation looking to expand their development team with an experienced Senior Frontend Developer with experience in Sitecore. This is an initial 6-month contract with strong potential for extension, working on enterprise-level digital projects.

They are looking for someone with a strong background in building accessible, high-performance, and responsive web applications, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities:
Sitecore CMS development (including SXA)
Build scalable, maintainable frontend solutions
Ensure WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance
Collaborate with UX/UI designers for responsive, pixel-perfect builds
Integrate with backend APIs and services
Optimise performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
Code reviews and mentoring junior developers

Experience:
5 years frontend development experience
Strong HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript
Expertise in Sitecore (Sitecore 10 preferred)
Experience with SASS/SCSS and modular CSS (BEM, ITCSS)
Experience with React, Angular, or Vue
Strong understanding of accessibility (WCAG 2.1, ARIA)
Experience with Agile/Scrum, Git, CI/CD pipelines
Experience integrating REST APIs

Salary
Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

Location
Australia (must be an Australian Citizen)
