Pearson Carter are currently working with a growing multidisciplinary consulting engineering business delivering practical, high-quality building services solutions across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic engineering.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Engineer – HVAC to take a leading technical role across a portfolio of building services projects.

This is a hands-on senior position combining HVAC design, project delivery, technical leadership, client management, and mentoring. You’ll have genuine autonomy to manage projects and workload while working closely with experienced directors and project leaders.

Responsibilities:
Lead HVAC and mechanical design across building services projects
Set technical direction and ensure high-quality project delivery
Coordinate mechanical services with other disciplines
Review calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Provide technical advice to clients and project teams
Support site inspections and construction-stage issues
Mentor junior and intermediate engineers
Contribute to client relationships and business growth

Experience:
8 years’ mechanical/HVAC consulting experience
Strong building services and commercial HVAC background
Previous Senior, Lead, or Technical Lead experience
Strong project management and technical delivery skills
Experience working across multidisciplinary teams
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Ability to work autonomously and take technical ownership
