Senior Quality Analyst – Remote UK

Pearson Carter are currently working with a growing Microsoft Dynamics 365 software business that is looking for an experienced Senior Quality Analyst to join their delivery team. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality solutions across Dynamics 365 Business Central, Customer Engagement and Power Platform.

This is a hands-on, player-coach role where you will lead testing, improve quality processes and work closely with Product Managers, Consultants and Developers to ensure quality is built into solutions from the outset.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute functional, exploratory, regression and integration testing

Test end-to-end business processes across D365 Business Central, Customer Engagement and Power Platform

Build and maintain risk-based regression test suites

Test Dynamics 365 customisations, extensions, integrations and web applications

Support data migration, environment refresh and release upgrade testing

Contribute to test automation using tools such as AL Test Toolkit, Playwright, EasyRepro and Postman

Work with Product Managers, Consultants and Developers to define clear, testable acceptance criteria

Participate in refinement sessions and help establish effective Definition of Ready and Definition of Done processes

Lead defect management, triage and release readiness activities

Coach development and delivery teams on quality practices

Support go/no-go decisions and post-release verification

Work with Azure DevOps or similar tools for test management, environments and deployment pipelines

Experience:

– Must have strong hands-on QA experience within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem

– Must have working experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central

– Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement / CRM and Power Platform

– Strong functional, exploratory, regression and integration testing experience

– Experience testing customised and extended Dynamics solutions

– Strong understanding of risk-based testing and structured test design

– Experience defining acceptance criteria and working with Product/Business stakeholders

– Experience coaching teams and improving quality processes within Agile environments

– Experience with Azure DevOps or similar

– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable:

– Experience with AL Test Toolkit, Playwright, EasyRepro or Postman/API testing

– Experience with data migration and integration testing

– Experience working with Dynamics 365 ISV products or AppSource solutions

– ISTQB or equivalent certification

– Experience with AI tooling and practices within software quality

Salary

They offer a competitive salary package up to £70,000 depending on experience Fully Remote Working Private Healthcare Pension Life Assurance 25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays 2 Paid Volunteering Days.

Location

This is a fully remote UK-based position, with occasional international travel required for training, company events and scheduled meetings.
