Senior Software Engineer (Backend / DevOps)

You’ll join a fast-moving engineering team working across backend systems, cloud infrastructure, DevOps tooling, and production environments where reliability and scalability matter every day. This is a hands-on role where your work directly impacts global customers and real-time systems at scale.

The Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of backend services and platform components, working across development, infrastructure, and production support. This role blends engineering, DevOps, and customer-facing technical problem solving in a highly technical environment. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to build, improve, and support scalable distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with customer engineering teams to integrate APIs, services, and platform components
Investigate and resolve production issues through code, logs, and infrastructure analysis
Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and distributed systems
Develop internal tools, automation, and testing frameworks to improve reliability
Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and system performance

About You

Required Experience
10 years of software engineering experience in backend or infrastructure roles
Strong Linux systems experience in production environments
5 years of C or C development experience in commercial settings
5 years of Golang development experience
3 years of Node.js development experience
Strong experience with Bash scripting and automation
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
Experience working with Kubernetes, Nomad, Consul, or similar container platforms
Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills in distributed systems environments

Nice to Have
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools
Exposure to cloud-native architecture and modern platform engineering practices
Experience working in DevOps-heavy or infrastructure-focused environments

Education
