Technical Solution Architect – Digital Assets & Trading Platforms

We are seeking an experienced Technical Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of the institutional trading connectivity layer, with a strong focus on FIX protocol architecture and exchange integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enhance high-availability, secure, and scalable trading platform architectures.
• Own the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimisation of FIX API connectivity solutions.
• Develop technical solutions supporting institutional clients, liquidity providers, market data, risk management, and trading operations.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical governance, and cross-functional delivery across engineering, testing, and operations teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in platform performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
• Ensure solutions align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Skills & Experience

• 10 years of software engineering and solution architecture experience.
• 3 years working within exchange environments including cryptocurrency, securities, futures, forex, or similar trading platforms.
• Deep expertise with FIX protocol (FIX 4.4) and institutional trading connectivity.
• Strong background designing distributed, high-concurrency systems.
• Experience with Java, Go, C, distributed databases, messaging systems, and cloud-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of trading workflows including matching, clearing, settlement, market data, and risk management.
