What does the NetSuite & Oracle hiring market look like in 2026?
NetSuite adoption continues to grow globally as organisations modernise legacy systems, streamline operations and layer more advanced analytics and AI-powered features into their ERP. Demand now spans SuiteCommerce, CRM and OneWorld, and increasingly Oracle Cloud ERP, HCM and E-Business Suite alongside NetSuite — which is changing who employers need to hire: cross-platform ERP and cloud depth now beats isolated specialism.
The supply side has not kept up. Among end-user organisations whose rollouts ran into trouble, 54% traced the problem back to thin internal NetSuite know-how, while 46% blamed a broader scarcity of NetSuite specialists. When hiring managers name their number-one recruitment obstacle, 57% choose sourcing people who bring the right sector skills; a further 46% cite the shallow pool of battle-tested candidates. Hardest of all to land are senior functional consultants, architects and data specialists.

How much do NetSuite and Oracle professionals earn?
The benchmark below shows the annual salary levels and contractor rates for employing NetSuite and Oracle professionals, by region. Figures show lower, medium and upper ranges; the upper range typically reflects highly experienced or capital-city (e.g. London) positions. To secure top talent in a competitive market, employers should consider offering 10–15% above these figures.
As a quick guide to what a NetSuite solutions architect earns, mid-range base salaries run to roughly $150,000 in the United States, £99,000 in the United Kingdom, €112,000 across the main European markets, A$187,000 in Australia, C$187,000 in Canada, S$180,000 in Singapore and NZ$198,000 in New Zealand. The United Kingdom section also covers Oracle ERP, applications and database roles; the Europe and Singapore figures are research-derived 2026 benchmarks because the underlying surveys stop short of those markets. Every table includes an indicative contractor day-rate range beside the permanent pay.
United States salary & contractor benchmarks ($)

Mid-range base salaries stretch from roughly $116,000 for a NetSuite accountant to $193,000 for a technical architect, with practice leads reaching $209,000 and financial systems managers around $169,000. Why do NetSuite professionals leave — and what keeps them?
Pay is the headline driver: nearly three-quarters of staff, 74%, would weigh up a move elsewhere if it meant a bigger pay cheque, and those who do switch land an 18% bump on average. Yet salary is not the whole story — 55% walk away citing stalled promotion paths, and 39% blame a weak workplace culture. Contentment with pay is slipping too: just 51% of end-user staff feel happy with what they earn, versus 53% a year ago and 65% two years back.
Counteroffers are less decisive than they seem: just 39% of resigning professionals were offered one (down from 51%), and 43% of those accepted. The stronger retention levers are structural — clear progression, meaningful project work, and the benefits professionals actually value: bonuses, remote options and flexible hours. For 90% of permanent staff, the package wrapped around base pay is a real factor in whether an offer gets a yes.
Certifications play a supporting role: 41% of professionals hold a NetSuite certification and 73% of employers help fund it. Certified staff report an average 22% pay rise — a comparatively cheap investment in loyalty and capability, even as fewer employers fund it than in previous years.
