We're looking for an AI Consultant to work with Australian businesses to identify practical opportunities for AI and help turn those opportunities into solutions that deliver measurable value.

This isn't a role focused on building flashy demos or talking about the latest model release.

You'll be working with business leaders and operational teams to understand their challenges, identify where AI can help and guide them through the process of adopting it effectively.

What you'll be doing

• Work with clients to identify practical AI opportunities across their operations
• Translate business challenges into realistic AI use cases
• Run discovery sessions and workshops with stakeholders
• Develop AI strategies and implementation roadmaps
• Advise businesses on responsible AI adoption and governance
• Recommend AI solutions across platforms such as OpenAI and Anthropic
• Help teams understand and adopt new AI capabilities
• Work alongside technical teams to turn recommendations into successful outcomes
• Build strong relationships with both senior decision-makers and operational teams
• Keep up with the rapidly evolving AI landscape and identify new opportunities

What we're looking for

We're not expecting you to know every AI tool or model on the market.

We're looking for someone who understands technology, business and people and can bring those three together.

You'll ideally have experience across:

• Technology consulting
• Digital transformation
• AI consulting or advisory
• Generative AI platforms
• Client-facing technology roles

You'll also need to be comfortable explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences, facilitating workshops and working with stakeholders from junior teams through to executives.

Commercial awareness is important too. The focus is on finding AI applications that solve genuine business problems rather than implementing technology simply because it's new.
