QA Engineer API & Stakeholder Collaboration (Singapore, Hybrid)

Role Overview

This position sits at the intersection of quality engineering and stakeholder collaboration. Youll work closely with developers, product teams, and business users to ensure high‑quality delivery across backend and API‑driven systems. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys both hands‑on testing and acting as a bridge between technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead API testing across REST/JSON endpoints and backend workflows.

Collaborate with developers to validate integrations and support smooth release cycles.

Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into clear, testable scenarios.

Execute manual and automated tests across web and backend systems.

Support defect triage, root‑cause analysis, and cross‑team communication.

Maintain regression suites, test documentation, and quality standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, tooling, and automation practices.

Requirements

Strong experience in API testing (REST Assured, Postman, or similar).

Solid background in manual and automation testing.

Ability to work closely with developers and business teams.

Strong communication skills and comfort in hybrid work environments.

Experience in financial services, fintech, or product‑driven environments is advantageous.
