Pearson Carter are currently working with a Big 4 Microsoft Partner that is looking for an experienced D365 Business Central Technical Lead to join their growing Microsoft consultancy team in Malta. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior Business Central developer looking to take ownership of technical delivery, architecture and complex client solutions.

Youll work across D365 Business Central, AL, integrations, Azure and the wider Microsoft ecosystem, leading technical design and delivery across the full implementation lifecycle. Youll collaborate closely with functional consultants, project managers, developers and clients while also supporting and mentoring other technical team members.

They offer a salary of 65,000, international project exposure and the opportunity to relocate to Malta and join a growing Business Central consultancy team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical architecture and design of D365 Business Central solutions.
• Own technical delivery across implementations, including AL development, extensions, integrations, data migration, testing and deployment.
• Design and deliver integrations using Business Central APIs, web services, Azure and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Establish technical standards across architecture, coding, source control, DevOps, testing and release management.
• Review solution designs and code, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring quality, security and maintainability.
• Work closely with functional consultants, project managers and client stakeholders to plan and deliver technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and blockers and provide practical solutions.
• Coach and mentor developers through technical guidance, code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to proposals, estimates, demonstrations and the continued development of the Business Central practice.

Experience:

• 5 years' commercial experience developing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with AL development and extension-based architecture.
• Experience leading technical workstreams or Business Central implementations.
• Strong knowledge of Business Central Online and upgrade-safe solution design.
• Experience with APIs, web services, Azure and/or Power Platform integrations.
• Strong understanding of DevOps, source control, CI/CD pipelines, environment management and automated testing.
• Experience across the full Business Central implementation lifecycle.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to make sound architectural decisions.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring, coaching or reviewing developers.
• Previous Microsoft Dynamics consultancy or Microsoft Partner experience would be advantageous.

Desirable:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications.
• Experience working within a Microsoft consultancy or partner environment.
• Experience with Azure integration and wider Microsoft technologies.
• Experience contributing to technical proposals, estimates and solution demonstrations.

Location

The D365 Business Central Technical Lead role is based in Qormi, Malta. Candidates will need to be willing to relocate to Malta for the position.
