Level 2/3 IT Support / Infrastructure Technician FIFO WA 6080/hr Super

Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading Australian mining organisation through an established IT services provider supporting a large-scale FIFO mining environment in Western Australia.

Due to operational requirements, they are looking for a Level 2/3 IT Support / Infrastructure Technician to provide hands-on technical support across desktop, networking, communications, servers, and general infrastructure.

This is an initial 3-month contract with potential extension based on performance, offering excellent camp facilities, food and accommodation.

Responsibilities: Provide Level 2/3 technical support onsite Troubleshoot desktop, hardware, networking, and wireless issues Support servers and general IT infrastructure Work across Cisco, Dell, UCS, Pure Storage, and wireless environments Support users and operational teams in a remote mining environment Escalate complex technical issues when required

Experience: Previous FIFO experience is essential Strong Level 2/3 IT support experience Broad desktop, networking, communications, server, and infrastructure knowledge Mining or remote-site experience highly desirable Cisco, Dell, UCS, Pure Storage, and wireless experience advantageous Strong communication and customer service skills OT experience is advantageous

Salary 6080 per hour Super

Location Western Australia (FIFO mining site)
