Pearson Carter are currently working with a leading professional services organisation who are looking to expand their technology team with a hands-on Power Platform Developer.

This is an excellent opportunity for a developer looking to take greater ownership of systems and solutions, working across Power Platform, case management systems and business-critical applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain solutions across Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
• Design, customise and support VisualFiles case management workflows, templates, scripts and data structures
• Automate legal and business processes to improve efficiency, accuracy and user experience
• Develop integrations between VisualFiles, Microsoft 365, Power Platform and third-party systems using APIs
• Develop and enhance .NET applications, modules and extensions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Power Platform, VisualFiles and .NET environments
• Produce technical documentation and carry out thorough testing to ensure solutions are secure and reliable
• Work closely with stakeholders and IT teams to understand requirements and deliver business-focused solutions

Experience:

• Strong commercial experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate
• Power BI experience would be beneficial
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including writing queries and understanding data structures
• Experience integrating systems using REST APIs, Dataverse and third-party platforms
• .NET / C# or similar object-oriented development experience
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, version control and testing practices
• Strong troubleshooting skills across application, database and integration layers

Desirable Experience:

• Experience working with VisualFiles, including workflow design, scripting, task server processes, templates and data structures
• Experience with Intapp or similar workflow/intake systems
• Previous experience working within a professional services or legal environment
