Power Platform Developer up to 60,000 Hybrid, Dudley

Pearson Carter are working with an established professional services business that is investing in its technology function and looking to bring an experienced Power Platform Developer into the team.

The successful candidate will play an important role in improving and developing internal systems, with a varied remit covering Microsoft Power Platform, VisualFiles, .NET, integrations and business process automation. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems and wants increased ownership of the solutions they deliver.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, enhance and support applications using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI
• Configure and develop VisualFiles, including workflows, templates, scripts and underlying data structures
• Identify opportunities to automate existing business and legal processes
• Create and maintain integrations between Power Platform, VisualFiles, Microsoft 365 and external applications
• Contribute to the development of .NET / C# applications, modules and extensions
• Investigate technical issues and provide effective fixes across applications, databases and integrations
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure appropriate testing is completed before solutions are released
• Engage with business users and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into practical technology solutions
• Help maintain reliable, secure and scalable business systems

Key Skills & Experience:

• Commercial experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
• Strong knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate
• Exposure to Power BI would be advantageous
• Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases
• Experience working with REST APIs, Dataverse and system integrations
• Development experience using .NET, C# or another object-oriented language
• Familiarity with SDLC principles, source control and software testing
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across multiple technical layers
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable Skills:

• Hands-on experience with VisualFiles, particularly workflows, scripting, task server processes, templates and data configuration
• Knowledge of Intapp or comparable workflow and intake platforms
• Background within the legal or wider professional services sector

Salary

Up to 60,000, alongside a benefits package.

Location

The position is based in Dudley and operates on a hybrid basis, offering flexibility around the team's requirements.

This role would suit a developer coming from a Power Platform, .NET or business applications background who is keen to work on systems that have a direct impact on the wider organisation.
