Power Platform & VisualFiles Developer 60,000 East Anglia

Pearson Carter are currently working with a well-established UK law firm that is looking for a Power Platform & VisualFiles Developer to join their technology team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on developer looking to take greater ownership of business systems, automation and technical solutions.

Youll work across Microsoft Power Platform, VisualFiles, .NET, SQL and APIs, developing solutions that support legal case management and wider business processes. Youll collaborate closely with stakeholders and IT colleagues to understand requirements, deliver solutions and provide ongoing technical support.

They offer a salary of up to 60,000, hybrid working and the opportunity to work on a range of business-critical technology projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI solutions.
  • Design and support VisualFiles workflows, templates, scripts and data structures.
  • Automate legal and business processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Build integrations between VisualFiles, Power Platform, Microsoft 365 and third-party systems.
  • Develop and support .NET applications and extensions.
  • Troubleshoot issues across Power Platform, VisualFiles, .NET, databases and integrations.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver business-focused solutions.
  • Maintain technical documentation and ensure solutions are thoroughly tested.

Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience integrating systems using REST APIs and Dataverse.
  • .NET, C# or similar object-oriented development experience.
  • Understanding of SDLC, version control and testing practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of workloads and deliver high-quality solutions.

Desirable:

  • Experience with VisualFiles, including workflows, scripting, Task Server, templates and data structures.
  • Experience with Intapp or similar workflow/intake platforms.
  • Previous experience within legal, professional services or case management environments.
