Power Platform & VisualFiles Developer Up to 60,000 East Anglia

A leading UK law firm is expanding its technology function and is looking to appoint an experienced Power Platform & VisualFiles Developer.

This is a great opportunity for a developer who enjoys working close to the business and wants the autonomy to design, build and improve systems that have a genuine impact on day-to-day operations.

Youll be responsible for developing and enhancing solutions across Microsoft Power Platform, VisualFiles, SQL, .NET and API integrations, supporting legal case management and a variety of internal business processes.

Working alongside IT teams and business stakeholders, youll turn requirements into practical technical solutions, improve existing applications and help ensure the organisations systems remain reliable, efficient and fit for purpose.

The position offers up to 60,000, hybrid working and the chance to contribute to a number of important technology initiatives.

What Youll Be Doing

Create, enhance and maintain applications using Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI.

Configure and develop VisualFiles workflows, templates, scripts and underlying data structures.

Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and digital solutions.

Develop integrations connecting VisualFiles with Power Platform, Microsoft 365 and external applications.

Build and maintain .NET-based applications and system extensions.

Investigate and resolve technical issues across applications, databases, integrations and business systems.

Engage with users and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Test new functionality thoroughly and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation.

Take ownership of assigned development work from initial requirements through to implementation and support.

What Were Looking For

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Commercial experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Apps and Power Automate.

Strong SQL and relational database knowledge.

Experience working with REST APIs, Dataverse and system-to-system integrations.

Development experience with .NET, C# or another object-oriented programming language.

An understanding of software development lifecycles, source control and testing methodologies.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

The confidence to work directly with stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly.

A proactive approach, with the ability to manage your own workload and deliver dependable solutions.

Desirable Experience

It would be particularly beneficial if you have experience with:

VisualFiles, including workflows, scripting, Task Server, templates and data structures.

Intapp or comparable workflow and intake solutions.

Legal technology, case management or professional services environments.

Developing systems that support business-critical operational processes.

Salary: Up to 60,000 per annum
