Solar & Battery Sales Consultant

1.1 The Role

Join a growing renewable energy business specialising in solar and battery solutions for residential and commercial customers.

Manage the full sales process, from generating leads and conducting consultations through to closing deals.

Understand customer energy needs and recommend suitable solar, battery storage and energy solutions.

Build relationships with new customers while developing referrals and repeat business.

Work closely with installation and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.

1.2 Key Responsibilities

Generate new business through outbound prospecting, inbound enquiries, referrals and networking.

Conduct customer consultations to understand energy usage, budgets and requirements.

Prepare quotes, proposals and system recommendations for solar panels and battery storage.

Manage sales enquiries, follow up on opportunities and negotiate pricing to secure sales.

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and work towards agreed revenue and sales targets.

Keep up to date with solar technology, battery products, government incentives and industry trends.

Provide customers with clear information on system performance, savings and installation processes.

Requirements

Previous experience in sales, ideally within solar, battery storage, electrical, energy or a related industry.

Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

A proven ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline and close deals.

Good commercial awareness and a customer-focused approach.

Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.

Knowledge of solar and battery systems is highly regarded.
