Are you a Senior Site Manager who thrives on complex construction projects and enjoys being the person everyone looks to when challenges arise?

We're partnering with a well-established Australian construction business delivering high-quality commercial spaces across retail, hospitality, hotels, offices, gyms, wellness centres, medical facilities and education.

With a strong reputation for delivering standout projects, the business is looking for an experienced Senior Site Manager to take ownership of a major project in South Brisbane, valued at approximately 15 million.

The Role

You'll take full ownership of site delivery, ensuring the project runs safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. Working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and clients, you'll drive programme, quality and site performance from start to finish.

You'll be the go-to person on site, bringing structure to complex builds, resolving issues before they escalate and keeping everyone aligned towards a successful outcome.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the delivery of a complex commercial fitout project valued at approximately 15M.
• Managing subcontractors, trades and site personnel to maintain programme and productivity.
• Coordinating site logistics, construction sequencing and buildability requirements.
• Driving safety, quality assurance and compliance across all stages of construction.
• Identifying risks early and developing practical solutions to keep the project moving.
• Working collaboratively with Project Managers, clients and consultants to achieve project objectives.
• Providing leadership and guidance to Site Managers, Supervisors and apprentices.
• Maintaining a well-organised site with clear expectations, accountability and strong communication.

About You

You're an experienced construction professional who takes pride in running a well-managed site. You're organised, proactive and confident making decisions, particularly when projects become technically challenging or programme pressures increase.

You'll ideally bring:

• Extensive experience delivering commercial construction or fitout projects.
• A proven track record managing complex projects valued up to 15M.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodology, buildability and site coordination.
• Experience leading subcontractors, trades and site teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A practical, solutions-focused approach to resolving construction challenges.
• A relevant construction trade qualification.
• Current White Card, First Aid and CPR certification, and a valid driver's licence.
• Experience across gyms, wellness facilities, hospitality, retail, medical or other complex commercial environments will be highly regarded.
