Are you passionate about helping people get more out of the technology they use every day?

Were working with a well-established Australian organisation that is looking for an experienced Technology Trainer to join its team and play a key role in technology adoption, user support and capability development.

This is a hands-on role where youll be working directly with users across the business delivering training, providing one-on-one support and helping people confidently adopt new systems and processes.

The Role

Youll be responsible for delivering engaging technology training across a range of applications and supporting users when they need assistance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering instructor-led classroom training to groups and individuals
• Providing one-on-one technology support and guidance
• Assisting users both in person and over the phone
• Troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day technology queries
• Training users on Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Supporting users with advanced Microsoft Office functionality
• Assisting with the implementation and rollout of new systems and processes
• Developing and maintaining training materials, manuals and user guides
• Documenting common enquiries and solutions to build internal FAQs and knowledge resources
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to improve technology adoption and user experience

About You

We're looking for someone who combines strong technology knowledge with excellent communication and training skills.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Technology Trainer, Application Trainer, Systems Trainer, Digital Adoption or similar role
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience delivering both group and one-on-one training
• A genuine ability to explain technology to users with varying levels of technical confidence
• Experience supporting users and troubleshooting technology issues
• Experience training users through new systems, processes or technology implementations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to create clear and practical training documentation
• A proactive, service-focused approach
